Stoner disappointed to miss pole
Casey Stoner admitted he was disappointed to miss out on Catalunya Grand Prix pole having been quickest in all three practice sessions this weekend. The Australian was dominant for much of qualifying too, only to be pipped by Marco Simoncelli right at the end - leaving Stoner to rue a small set-up issue.
